My Blogging Journey Begins

Hello and welcome to ‘HiSZtory’, thanks for joining me!

My name is Iszy and I am an A-level History student with an immense passion for the subject. I have loved History as long as I can remember, spending hours researching topics such as mummification techniques and reading/watching ‘Horrible Histories’, this passion has been consistent throughout my school career and I wish to continue it by reading History at university in 2020.

I also study Classical Civilisation and English Literature and I take Ancient Greek as Enrichment, having already studied Latin and French at GCSE (- now I just need to learn Spanish so I can match Queen Elizabeth I’s language skills!). I am also currently working towards my Extended Project Qualification , in which I evaluate art’s importance in the provocation, sustenance and legacy of the French Revolution and its subsequent political unrests

I hope to blog about my attempts at historical cooking, the Year 5 and 6 history club I run weekly, any history related work experience I do, reviews of interesting history reads and many more things! I will also post the essays I submit to competitions and any work I am particularly proud of.

I hope you enjoy reading my blog.
